Statement of Purpose:
Wisconsin's official veterans memorial. Dedicated to soldiers of Wisconsin from Civil War to present.
The Wisconsin Veterans Museum contains exhibits related to Wisconsin's role in American military history, from the Civil War through the Persian Gulf.
Included are life-sized dioramas of the battles of Antietam, Buna, and the Ardennes.
also include three aircraft: a Sopwith Camel, a P-51 Mustang, and a "Huey" helicopter.
"Tribute to Freedom" award winning and exciting new displays.
Tue-Sat: all year 9:30-4:30
Admission is free
Located across from the Wisconsin Capitol Building, at the head of State Street.
