Statement of Purpose:
Wisconsin's official veterans memorial. Dedicated to soldiers of Wisconsin from Civil War to present.
Highlights:
The Wisconsin Veterans Museum contains exhibits related to Wisconsin's role in American military history, from the Civil War through the Persian Gulf. Included are life-sized dioramas of the battles of Antietam, Buna, and the Ardennes.
The exhibits
also include three aircraft: a Sopwith Camel, a P-51 Mustang, and a "Huey" helicopter.
