Statement of Purpose:

The Sports Museum is dedicated to its education and community outreach programs for the youth.

The Sports Museum, a non-profit educational institution, showcases New England's rich sports heritage. The Sports Museum highlights New England's athletes and teams through artwork, memorabilia, video footage, and interactive exhibits.

Over 120 years of collections: artwork, memorabilia, publications, artifacts, videotape, audiotape, film.

The Sports Museum features exhibits of the great sports traditions of the Boston Garden, FleetCenter, Bruins and Celtics; photography exhibits, art exhibits, the sculputes of Armand LaMontagne, the Boston Garden Theatre, exhibits of boxing, school hockey, football, baseball, soccer, skiing, baseball; the 80th anniversary of the Boston Bruins, the Boston Garden, New England high school and college athletic programs.
