Statement of Purpose:

Preserve, collect, make available historical information of the Greater Loveland area thru operation of a non profit museum open to the public.

Museum building.

1862 Victorian "Bonaventure" overlooks Little Miami River. Built by first mayor John Law. Museum complex also contains craft cottage, herb garden & in 1995, addition of 200 yr old rich family log cabin on grounds.


Museum Gift Shop Area.

Managed by volunteers, gift shop helps support Museum preservation efforts.


C. Roger Nisbet Library,

second floor of Museum occupies one room plus archives. Research library contains genealogy; Ohio Civil War Rosters; School records, etc...


Memorial herb garden

established 1984 by all all volunteer group at Museum. 30ft by 45ft half circle herb garden contains medicinal, culinary, ornemental herbs in traditional 19th century design open to the public.
