Museum presents and preserves the history and evolution of prisons.

Sentenced to Colorado Territorial Prison in 1886 for cannibalism.
Colorado Territorial Prison Museum.
Museum housed in cell house #4 - Women's prison from 1935 to 1968.
Lock Step Used until 1964.
Inmates were required to walk with their hands on the shoulders of the person in front and walk in step.
Interior Hall of the Prison Museum.
Each of the 30 upstairs cells are filled with history of past prison life.
