Founded in 1882, the Milwaukee Public Museum collects, preserves and interprets the world's treasures in life-size, walk-through dioramas.
The Museum houses more than 4.5 million objects and specimens, conducts nationally recognized field work and research, and presents vast outreach and eductional programming to complement school curriculum and enhance its award-winning exhibits.
