Statement of Purpose:
Dedicated to the collection, preservation and exhibition of fine metalwork, both historic and contemporary.
The only museum dedicated exclusively to metalwork in the United States.
Changing exhibitions, outdoor sculpture garden, metalworking demonstrations, spectacular view of the Mississippi River.
Changing exhibits range from jewelry and hollowware to sculpture and architectural ironwork.
April 28 to July 7: Art Metal of Japan
July 14 to Sept 15: Recent American Blades
Sept 22 to Nov 17: Tom Joyce: Master Metalsmith.
Nov 24 to Feb 2, 1997: The American Jewelry Design Council.
Feb 9 to April 20, 97: Judaica: Silver ritual Objects.
Tuesday to Saturday: 10-5;
Closed Mondays, during exhibit change period and on major national holidays.
$1 Senior 62 and older, students and children 5-18,
Children under 5 and members are admitted free.
