Statement of Purpose:

Holds one of the best painting collections of 17 and 18 centuries. Is also there the museum of the Ringling Circus and the Ca d'Azan, the summer house of Ringling in Florida, built following an amalgamation of architectural motifs that can be described as Venetian/Byzantine.

There are three museums in the same place. The museums were donated to the State of Florida and today the collections are curated and maintained by the State of Florida.

Highlights & Collections:

• A world's renowned collection of Reubens paintings and cartoons.
• 16th, 17th, and 18th century Italian paintings, especially the 17th century ones are world renowned.
• 17 century tapestries and a museum of circus memorabilia.

MUSEUM HOURS ARE 10:00-5:30 7 DAYS A WEEK
(Closed Thanksgiving, Christmas Day and New Year’s Day)

Admission & Directions:

$15.00 FOR ADULTS
$12.00 FOR SENIORS 55 AND OVER
$12.00 for Groups of 20 or more (Call 941-359-5733 for ADULT Group reservations)
Call 941-359-5762 for STUDENT Group tour reservations.
$12.00 for active Military Personnel
Children 12 and under are admitted free when accompanied by an adult .
Florida teachers free with a current valid ID.
Florida students free with a current valid ID.
Out of state Students  $7.00

The Cŕ d’Zan, John Ringling’s winter mansion
The Museum of the Circus

The Banyan Café, open from 11:00AM to 4:00PM  Thru October, 11:00AM to 5:00PM November thru April. And offers a selection of sandwiches, salads and light lunches.

The Museum is one block west of  the intersection of University Parkway and US 41.
From I-75 Take Exit #40.  Go West, the road is called University
Parkway.   Follow it until it ends, it brings you right to us.

1/2 mile south of Sarasota-Brandenton airport and easily accesible from I 75 Road through US 41
