The Topeka and Shawnee County Public Library is a permanent, not-for-profit Institution that primarily serves the residents of Topeka and Shawnee County.
The mission of the Alice C. Sabatini Gallery is to acquire, exhibit and care for tangible objects owned by the Topeka and Shawnee County Public Library. Maintained by a professional staff, the Library (TSCPL) gallery exhibits art objects for the public on a regular schedule from its permanent collections. It also presents temporary exhibitions from other sources.
Exhibit Schedule:
None until January of 2002 when our building addition and remodeling project has been completed.
Some collections available for research by appointment only if
staff is available during construction period.
The Topeka and Shawnee County Public Library's Gallery of Fine Arts is open during regular Library hours. Patrons are encouraged to browse the exhibits. Tours may be arranged by calling Larry Peters at (913) 231-0527.
