Statement of Purpose:

History museum sharing the history of Benicia and the US Army arsenal through exhibits and public programs.

Highlights & Collections:

We have over 3500 photos on Benicia history in our archives.  You are welcome to come out and look through them.  

Exhibits:

Focus on Benicia: a photographic history.

Also, we have an exhibit to help celebrate California's and Benicia's 150th Sesquicentennial; a scale model of a Yuba Mfg. gold dredge built in 1913.  It operates like a dredge to show potential customers how a dredge operates in extracting gold from the bottom of rivers.  The exhibit displays other items of manufacture at Yuba Mfg. in Benicia which closed in the mid 1970's. 

We will be commemorating the 50th Anniversary of the Korean War until 2003 with a changing exhibit with artifacts from that period.

Please come by and see our powder magazine on the complex and be amazed at the beautiful and stunning architecture!
