Statement of Purpose:

An impressive tribute to the American buffalo. The museum is the brainchild of Gemmie E. Baker, a South Dakotan who early on fell in love with the imposing beast and began collecting buffalo memorabilia. Collection is artfully presented in a two-story building.

Life-size fake buffalo;
a singing buffalo family;
a prop from "Dance s with Wolves";
Buffalo Bill's Sharps rifle;
mural of Buffalo Bill and his yellow ticket wagon.

M-F: 9-5; By appt on Sunday only.

Admission & Directions:
Adults: $3; Seniors: $2.50; Children 6-17: $2.
