Statement of Purpose:
Collect artifacts from the nearby "Battle of Washita" Battlefield, where General Custer massacred Cheyenne Chief Black Kettle and his village on the Washita River.

- April 3 : Lecture (related to exhibit) by Dr. Mel Firgel on The Santa Fe trail and Its Effect on the Buffalos and Indians of the area.
